Children tell us about themselves in many ways. Sometimes through words. Sometimes through drawings, stories, questions, routines, favorite places, or the people they choose to spend time with.

Tell Me About Your World gives children and adults a place to explore those experiences together.

Each section begins with a simple drawing or writing activity, followed by five conversation questions. Adults are then invited to notice what the child's answers may reveal and pause for their own reflection.

The journal explores the child's world across home, family, traditions, food, friendships, school, places they spend time, emotions, identity, and hopes.

There are no right or wrong answers and no need to complete the journal all at once. Use one section during family time, after school, in a classroom or program, or whenever you want to understand a little more about how a child sees their world.
